I haven't posted since September. Cripes.
Well, a lot has happened in four months, but I'm not sure if I want to explain it all right now. I'm more worried about my chemistry lab and final exam speech in Public Speaking that's due tomorrow.
Tomorrow is Brian's 19th birthday, but tonight we're all going to La Crosse to take him out to eat at Outback Steakhouse; oh, yeah, we do it like that! I don't know if I've ever eaten there, but I'm not expecting it to be gruesome.
We had the second half of our debate in Civics today. It was pretty cool; about same-sex marriage and abortion. Those two topics I'm pretty passionate about. Pretty passionately liberal about.
I guess, right now, I'll just say that life is going pretty well.
I'm stressing big-time about prom, but I'll get over it.

Wow. The TV is on upstairs and I think I just heard a commercial for the Kidz Bop CD and they were singing "Santeria". Wow...again.
There's so fucking much. Like, I actually fought with my mom for the first time yesterday. [not proud of that!]. Oh, and I gave blood on my birthday. It was fucking AWESOME. In a weird, twisted way, I suppose. But it just made me feel good about myself and the questions they ask are crazy funny: "Have you ever had sex with a prostitute or another person who takes money or drugs in return for sex?", "Have you ever had sex with a man who's had sex with another man?", "Have you ever had sex with an animal?". LMAO. I mean, it's serious if you have an STD...but still. To me, at 17, it's funny.
Seriously. I'm 17. I feel old. Like, 16 is still a young teenager, but 17 is OLD. It just feels different.
I don't know. I could type all night. But I'll quit.
Oh, I work everyday until the 20th. I'm always tired. But life is good. |

I'm moving to town. Gah. It's all happening so fast. The past week I've either been working or in the new house painting and cleaning. I'm really excited, and so many things are happening at once, but it still feels like I'm just sitting & waiting.
I want school to start NOW. I want to be a junior and have Chemistry and see my friends again and ahhhh.

I have discovered the problem with my iPod: it's only playing the songs that I downloaded off of my own CDs.
I feel a bit better that I know why it's only playing certain songs and skipping the rest, but NOW I want to know how to fix it.
I'm thinking if I just plug it in when I go back home on the 13th, it'll update like regular. If not, I'mma get a new, kickass iPod.
Work sucked this morning. Everyone was grumpy.
Oh, and don't watch "About Schmidt". It was a bad movie. It dragged on and on and I don't think Jack Nicholson executed his character that well. The whole wedding speech...ugh. The ending was sweet, but that's about it. |

I just IMDB'd Inarritu (if I knew how, I would put the tilde and accent in his name, sorry!) and he's currently producing a film called "Rudo y Cursi". This is a momentous occasion because along with him producing, guess who's acting??

I just watched "21 Grams". It was depressing, but very good.
Man, I love Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu (the director). He did "Babel" and "Amores Perros" as well; the films are kind of a semi-trilogy. So brilliant.
And not that it matters, but Benicio del Toro is one fine piece of man-meat.

I wish I wasn't so good at spending my money. I spent about $100 today in four hours. Christ.
I watched a rerun of the Colbert Report today and I thought Nancy Pelosi was the guest but it turned out to be some author. Haha, I thought it was funny...just because I wouldn't have guessed that I would be able to recognize Pelosi's face.
Oh, and I noticed today that I pass a helluva lot of people when I drive. I'm sorry.
My iPod is pissing me off.

So I'm house-sitting for 10 days at my aunt & uncle's house in Tomah. The whole house to myself for over a week? Heck yes.
I think my iPod is fucked. It still plays, but halfway during a song, it will skip to another song. If you push the next button, it skips about seven songs before it plays. I have no idea. It sucks, but I don't think I can just chuck it out. Especially unceremoniously! |

I got bit by a cat yesterday morning at work. It sucks. I have an infection in my thumb joint, but I'm taking antibiotics. I didn't think it'd hurt this much. Oh, and the antib's they gave me are like horse pills. I have this mental block about taking pills; I'm choking them down (twice a day for five days).
Whatever, it doesn't scare me away from work. People keep asking me if I'm going to quit now. I just stare at them. Incredulous! Ha.

I'm half-watching "Ghost Rider" with my ten-year-old cousin. It's cheesy. Oh, and I don't like Nicolas Cage. He smells.
I might go to Madison tomorrow, even though I have no money. I'm thinking of dropping some of my old CDs and books off at the pawn shop to get some money. |

Now, this is more like LJ neglect.
I just had an urge to post and I was surprised I remembered my password on to this thing.
I went to work today and Chriss already walked everyone so I just had to clean kennels and dink around for a bit. I was there for an hour. I'll try to go slow this afternoon so I can get adequate hours in.
HOLY SHIT I TALKED TO SLAW TODAY ON AIM. I guess I forgot how much I missed chatting with her in a messenger, and I really need to get back on it more.
I have my prom dress now and I like it. I'm just so scared because I haven't worn a dress since I was in 3rd grade...
I bought Babel on DVD yesterday. I got the shit Wal*Mart version, but I just wanted the movie anyway. Sooooo good. |

Holy LJ neglect.
I went to Viroqua today with Shermy and we spent four hours driving around picking up applications from everywhere: Subway, McDonald's, Culver's, Village Market, Vernon Square Cinema, Viroqua Vet Center, Vernon Manor Nursing Home, Viroqua Food Cooperative, Walgreen's, Wal-Mart, Tractor Supply, Nelson Agri-Center, Dairy Queen, and that's about it.
I really want to work at the vet clinic, but I really will take a job anywhere as long as I don't have to babysit as often as I do now.
I'm going bowling Monday with Macey, Tori, and Nick. I'm so going to kick everyone's asses. |

I'm done with all my homework for the next week or so. I guess I'll just be reading 'Fight Club' in my classes, haha. Actually, I think I forgot my literature book at school, so I'll have that to do on Monday.
Dad's at parent-teacher conferences right now and Mr. Waddell gave me his cold. My nose is miserable.
